Happy New Year! We hope your New Year is off to a great start. Before we move too far into the year, we want to pause and thank all those who supported our Marine Toys For Tots drive this past Christmas Season. With the help and generous support of the RIHI community, we had another great Toys for Tots drive this past holiday season! Despite so many facing numerous challenges this past year, and the need for even more families/children needing support, we were able to help bring some joy to those less fortunate by making their Christmas a little bit brighter.
This year not only was the team here at RIHI able to collect wonderful toys from those community members that stopped by, we also gave kids the opportunity to get a picture with Santa and receive a customized digital Christmas card to capture the memory. And as an added treat, a visit with Santa also meant that every child also received a small gift to brighten their holiday. With the RIHI Cares program, RIHI Presidents John and Anthony Aurgemma remain committed to giving back to the community that has given them so much support over the years. John has said many times “for three generations we have made it part of our mission to enhance the lives of all those we touch, especially those less fortunate around the New England area”
As always, any of our RIHI Cares program’s success not only relies on the efforts of the RIHI team, but more importantly, the tremendous support we receive from the local community. We are eternally grateful for the many years of support for all of our programs including Toys For Tots, The Tomorrow Fund, The Gloria Gemma Cancer Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity. In 2022 were looking to expand the RIHI Cares Program to respond to the increasing needs and challenges so many New Englanders are facing. In fact, next month we will be launching a RIHI Cares program to generate donations for the American Heart Association in conjunction with February’s American Heart Month.
