Christmas Countdown
First off, we hope everyone has enjoyed a safe and fun Hanukkah over the past few nights with your friends and family. I’m sure the rest of you reading this blog who are eagerly anticipating Christmas have finished all your shopping and are fully ready for Thursday, right? Of course you are! So, we’ll just tend to some clerical business today, reminding you of a few of the holiday happenings in which we’ll be taking part.
Santa bids RIHI a farewell until next year
We had another very successful weekend with Santa the past two days. Our showroom was bustling with action Saturday and Sunday as children from all age groups hung out with Santa, filled up on hot chocolate, and snapped many a picture. Maybe more importantly, however, was the explosion of generosity from our faithful neighbors who dropped off an amazing amount of beautiful gifts for our annual Toys for Tots drive. Collecting all the toys at times became difficult, considering that just from a casual glance this year’s drive accumulated an unprecedented number of fun-filled toys that will be delivered to happy children this Christmas Eve. We’d also like to once again thank Santa for his time and dedication during his busiest time of year to fit our family into his schedule.
Makeover Giveaway
Since the end of the year can now be seen creeping over the horizon, we’d like to remind all of you who took the time to meet us as any of the various shows, events, malls, and such that the winner of our $15,000 Home Make Over Giveaway will be selected in the upcoming weeks. One lucky homeowner will be drawn and subsequently walk away with one less springtime project to worry about. If you haven’t entered to win yet, you can still get your name in before we close the ballots next week. Simply stop by one of our Christmas Kiosks located at the Warwick Mall and the North Kingstown Wal-Mart. We’ll be there right up until Christmas Eve evening.
