Looking ahead this weekend, we unfortunately have to call an audible as the annual Dog and Pony Show at Fort Adams has been postponed to a date to be determined. We’re sorry to have to report this, as I personally was looking forward to the pony rides this show offers each year. We’ll definitely keep you posted as to when this petting zoo extravaganza will be rescheduled, so stay tuned to the RIHI blog for details.
Harvesting Fun
Which leaves us with the Newton Harvest Festival taking place at Newton Center Green. Happening over both Saturday and Sunday, the Green at Newton Center will be bustling with fun. Saturday will showcase kid-centric amusement rides, sand art, and face painting. Sunday is when the real excitement blooms, especially during the pumpkin decorating. Get creative and show the world your best Halloween pumpkin carving skills. Along with over 100 craft booths, the harvest fest will showcase an impressive spread of eclectic food for every palette imaginable. In case you haven’t noticed, we don’t often hold court at shows not featuring a sizable food menu. If the RIHI Remote Team is there you can pretty much count on there being some incredible eats close by.
If you’re too busy this weekend devising your Halloween costume to attend any of these events, you can always reach us at 401-739-1001 or www.rihi.com
