The theme for this weekend’s series of events will be eclectic. As we barrel forward toward summer, our show schedule tends to broaden in scope, allowing us the chance to talk with people who might not necessarily even realize they need home improvements. Well, you’d be hard pressed to find a weekend in which we cover a wider spectrum than this one while we get set for the Sheep Shearing Festival, the Framingham Earth Day Celebration, and the Southern New England Women’s’ Expo!
If you happen to find yourself in Waltham this Saturday—and in need of a new sweater or shawl—The Sheep Shearing Festival might be an option. Saturday will be the perfect day for those of you who may have asked yourself the tough question: “Would I prefer to shave a sheep with an electric set of shears or the more old-fashioned route with a blade?” Both methods will be on display, not to mention a collection of kids’ activities—including box hockey, bean bags, and giant Frisbee toss. I didn’t even mention the Maypole dancing, which is open to all ages.
Maybe the environment is more your scene? If that’s the case, we’d like to invite you to stop in and spend the day with us at The Framingham Earth Day Festival. Recycle, reuse, and reduce will be the name of the game on Saturday while we share with all in attendance why green is the best color for your home. Ask our RIHI Remote Team just how much green our Protec window, siding, and roofing products can save you all year round, not just during the winter months.
Speaking of recycling, I could do some of my own right now in discussing the Women’s Expo taking place in Taunton this weekend. Sponsored by the same great people who brought you the previous expo last weekend, you can simply revisit last week’s blog and enjoy the same wine and womancentric musings found within.
Once again, you never need to venture out to get in contact with us. We’re constantly on the other end of 401-739-1001 to answer all your home improvement (and preferred sheep shearing) questions.
