The final official weekend of summer is upon us; however, that does not justify any tear shedding. Autumn greets us with its own unique delights to anticipate, such as bright foliage, warm sweaters, and the smell of wood-burning stoves—not to mention the Misquamicut Fall Festival. Held each year overlooking Block Island Sound, the fall festival is always one of our favorite events to take part in. Easily one of the most eclectic shows on our calendar, Westerly’s shoreline will play host to myriad food, music, carnival rides, and much more. Of course, you’ll also find our RIHI Remote Team with sand between their toes, demonstrating our Protec replacement windows.
Our fall into autumn begins as the sun sets quietly on Friday night. Stilt walker Keith Leaf (great name for the season, by the way) will tread carefully amongst the festival goers before country artist Boone hits the main stage. Friday will also kick off the crazy spectrum of food available, including cheeseburgers, lobster, Thai and Chinese, as well as other international fare. This will also be the final time you’ll be able to enjoy a Del’s lemonade until next April.
Saturday’s schedule features some of Rockwell Amusements’ most spectacular rides. The Super Slide, bumper cars, Dizzy Dragons, and the Circus Train will all be up, running, and ready to inject your weekend with great family fun. Our RIHI Remote Team will be on the beach all day, talking with everyone about how replacing your tired, old windows with our Protec replacement window system will significantly slice your energy bills this season. Once you’ve scheduled your free in-home window consultation with our team you’ll want to stick around for Grammy nominated artist Sophie B Hawkins.
Remember, fall is the season we turn the clocks back, and turn the thermostats ahead. You’ll want to get your home ready these approaching colder months. Don’t get caught with subpar windows! Call us today at 401-739-1001.
